Accepting Credit CardsTo accept credit cards you must have a merchant account to process credit card orders. Mals is not a credit card processing company.
To set up your cart to accept credit cards:

Log into your Mals-e account
- Click on Cart Setup Tab

Click on Payment Methods (middle)

Click on Payments

Put the credit cards you accept into the first box separated by a comma and no spaces

Tick the boxes that say "Collect card verification number and" and "make it required input"

Click update
Note: the above method works if you're using a virtual terminal or manually processing credit cards. In order to use a merchant account and have payments processed automatically, you would need to have a Mals-e premium account which Mals charges $8.00 per month for. You also need to configure Mals differently than what is written above.
To get the credit card information to go to your virtual terminal (in your merchant account), and process a credit card order do the following:

Log into Mals

Click on Pick UP Payments

Select the order #

Enter your payments password (sent with your Mals login)

Print out or copy into notepad, the customer info

Log into your virtual terminal (in your merchant account) and process credit card order manually
-
Delete credit card information from your Mals account when finished |
