How do I install a template? TOP
When you purchase a template or opt for a free template, PappaShop will need to approve the installation before you can actually install one.
To install a template, follow the steps in this tutorial.
How do I find out what version of Pappa-Pak I am using? TOP
Go to your storeadmin and find the version number at the bottom of the page. It should look something like this:
Where can I upgrade to Pappa-Pak version 2.6? TOP

What is the difference between the free, premium and the OOAK designs? TOP
Besides free templates being free and premium templates costing $4.99 here is the basic difference.
Free templates all have a blank area where the logo/header should be. This is so that you can simply use text for your business name or add your own logo in that place. Premium templates all have a decorative area where the business name goes and PappaShop will have to add your business name for you in.
OOAK templates are one of a kind designs sold once to just one person. Now that I have installed a template, how to I make my site use that design? TOP
Log into your storeadmin
Click on Template (left side)
Choose a template from the dropdown menu
Click Apply If I install a template, will it effect my page content or products? TOP
Not at all. The template you install works for all pages and does not effect any content or products you have entered.
How do I add a logo to a free template? TOP
Click on Images in your storeadmin
Under Catalog Images, click the Update button
Click on the Browse button next to the Logo box
Find the file on your hard drive and upload it
Click Update
Note: If you purchase a premium template, the logo file for that template will be uploaded by PappaShop after adding your business name to it. That logo file will not be uploaded in the same way as a free template logo would be. How do I edit a template after it is installed? TOP

Log into your storeadmin

Click on Template (left side)

Choose a template from the dropdown menu

Click Apply

Click Customize

Copy the html for the template

Paste the html into an html editor of your choice and make changes

Copy the html for the revised template and paste it in over too of the existing html in the template area.

Click Update (Your site will then be using the edited version of the
template. The original is still in your storeadmin under the Template link)
PLEASE NOTE: PappaShop does not offer
html lessons or teach you how to edit your template in any way. Editing a
template is for advanced users who know html.
I am on a Mac. Can I still use PappaShop templates? TOP
The template installer is not compatible with Mac. You will need to submit a support ticket and let us know which template you would like and we will assist you. I installed a template but it does not show up on my site. Why? TOP
Make sure you have selected the template that you installed by clicking on Template in the storeadmin and choosing it from the dropdown menu and clicking Apply.
Also make sure that you don't have each individual page of your website set to use a particular template. Click on "edit" next to any page in the pages area of the storeadmin. Scroll to the bottom and make sure that "Optional Theme" is set to say Select Template. Where do I change my text header? TOP
Click on Site Settings in the storeadmin
Change the Business Name
Click Update Why does my premium template say "Business Name Here" TOP
Although you have installed the template into your directory, PappaShop may not have added your business name to the logo/header at that time. Once your logo/header has been altered with your business name and/or slogan, PappaShop will add that corrected file for you. Please allow up to 24 hours.
Will PappaShop make a slight color change for me? TOP
Since our templates are free or extremely affordable to begin with, there are no alterations of any kind offered other than your business name and/or slogan in the logo/header area of the template. You are welcome to make any changes you would like on your own however. And if you want something custom made, see our design team.
Will PappaShop make matching banners for me? TOP
Depending on the design, yes. When you add a template to the cart, if matching baners can be made for that design, you will have the option to purchase them at that time.
Will PappaShop create a custom design for me? TOP
Absolutely! Let our in house design team create a look that is truly your own.
Can I install more than one template? TOP
Absolutely! You can install as many free templates as you like and you can purchase and install as many premium templates as you like.
