Set up domain based email on your iPhone

  • On your iPhone, touch the Settings icon.
  • Then choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  • Then choose Add Account
  • Choose Other
  • Choose Add Mail Account
  • Enter the name you want to represent this account, the full email address, your password and a description (optional).
  • Then choose Next.
  • On the next screen choose POP and fill in the incoming mail server information.
  • Host Name:  mail.yourdomainname.com (replace with your actual domain).
  • Username:  your full email address.
  • Password:  the password you set up when you created the email account.
  • Fill out the information for the outgoing mail server.
  • Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.com (replace with your actual domain).
  • Username:  your full email address
  • Password:  the password you set up when you created the email account.
  • Now choose Save

IF you receive a message that pops up and says "Cannot Verify Server Identity", choose Continue.

  • Go back to Mail, Contacts, Calendars and choose your new email account.
  • Scroll down and choose Advanced
  • Where it says "Use SSL" - set that to OFF
  • Authentication should be "password"
  • Server Port 110
